An intermediate service should be carried out at two yearly intervals or more frequently if you log high mileage.

This service ensures that your brakes and gears work as effectively as when you first bought your bike.

The Mobile Cycle Medic Intermediate Service for bikes with standard brakes includes:

  • basic safety check
  • chain wear check
  • clean of chain and gears, followed by re-lubrication
  • replacement of gear cables and re-indexing of gears-if needed
  • replacement of brake cables and brake block-if needed
  • adjustment of bearings in wheels, headset and bottom bracket
