The Briefing.  Notice those smart Red boots!

Two youngsters (in pic above) turned up on their single speed bikes. Ben with sister Hannah, aged 4, both rode the 6 miles around the Village and then on the Longcot Watchfield loop.   The original plan did not include the trek round the village but on the day we put it in so we could see how we were all cycling and bring some joy to the locals.

Glad to report that all the local motorists gave us plenty of room and many waved us Happy Christmas

The Plan

Why not join me and other local cyclists for a leisurely pre-Christmas potter out towards Longcot and back via Watchfield.  The route is just over 5 and a half miles, virtually flat and quite safe.  We will go at a leisurely social pace so the ride will be suitable for any one who can ride a bike.  We will meet outside Shrivenham Primary School at 10am and ride for an hour or so, returning to the workshop for lovely warm mince pies and a cuppa and a FREE raffle for some useful bike bits.
