macmillan-logoI have been involved with Macmillan cancer support in Swindon for 5 years.  I started riding the Castles Bike Ride in about 2001.  A few years later I was asked to help the team  of route planners, Bruce and Brian.  Then these two stalwarts who had been involved right from day 1 passed the job to me.  with help  from Cycling Now colleague, Neil Daycock, I plan three routes each year, at around 10, 20  and thirty miles with a mix of on and off road  cycling.

This year’s event raised well over £6,000

A couple of years ago I raised about £300 by taking part in a London to Brighton bike ride. but one with a difference……It started at 11pm and we rode through the night to get breakfast in Brighton.

In July this year I rode London to Paris for  Macmillan to raise £1600.  Thanks to everyone who sponsored me on both these events.
