Based near Swindon in Shrivenham, Mobile Cycle Medic, Lew Lawton provides expert bike care for cyclists in Swindon and the surrounding villages including Swindon, Wroughton, Highworth, Faringdon, Longcot, Woolstone, Ashbury, Shrivenham, Bourton, Lechlade, Kempsford, Fairford, Cricklade, South Cerney.

If you needed telling that your local mobile cycle mechanic is also a dedicated cyclist who knows how important it is to have your bike working just right.  In September 2017 I spent three days riding up Le Mont Ventoux in Provence.  This is one of the Classic climbs on the Tour De France. I rode up from Bedouin on day 1, From Malaucene on Day 2 and from Sault on Day 3.   These pictures were taken on day 2 which was the best weather-wise.   I have written up my trip blog which is published here along with some professional photos taken on the ascents.

I have just completed my Shimano Di2 Training with Julian Thrasher at ATG Training in Aylesbury.  So if you have any Di2 Issues give me a call.

You could save some time and money by doing some basic maintenance stuff yourself.

Tailor Made Bike Maint Courses.

I have now run a number of bespoke courses for individuals.  Here is the feedback from the most recent:

“We spent six hours with Lou during which he delivered a course tailored to our specific requests. It was really interesting and Lou explained things well, offering hints and tips from his experiences. The practical demonstrations followed by the opportunity to have-a-go ourselves was particularly useful. Would recommend to anyone wanting to develop their knowledge of bike maintenance / operation.”
